T-Mobile’s Des takes the LG V40 ThinQ and its five cameras to Hollywood

The LG V40 ThinQ, which features a two-year warranty, has three cameras on back and another two in front. On the back of the handset, a 12MP primary camera carries an aperture of f/1.5, a 16MP super wide-angle camera covers a 107-degree viewing area, and a 12MP wide-angle camera offers a 45-degree viewing area. Yesterday, LG pushed out an update that improves the performance of the phone’s cameras.

Des took the LG V40 ThinQ to a place where cameras are often employed, Hollywood. First stop was Griffith Observatory where Des showed off Triple Shot; with this feature, all three cameras work together to create a mini-movie that includes transition effects and music. Other features shown on the video include Parallax, Dynamic Zoom and Panorama.

The phone was then taken to the heart of Hollywood where the Walk of Stars was the subject of a video taken by Des, who explained how manual video mode allows the phone’s user to customize the camera’s settings. In Portrait Mode, the pictures come with the blurred background bokeh effect that everyone wants on their portraits. On the Santa Monica pier, the camera’s ability to capture photos in low-light using the Super-Bright Camera was put to the test. This feature activates automatically when taking photos or shooting videos under low-light conditions.
